Bridgestone tyres have long been known as a quality, premium tyre brand, and it has recently been announced that they have been chosen as original equipment for the newest luxury Cadillac due out next year. The top-line ‘Platinum’ version of the new 2013 Cadillac XTS with its 20 inch alloys is going to be fitted with the Potenza RE97AS in size P245/40R20 95V.
The all-season Potenza RE97AS will be manufactured by Bridgestone in North Carolina. Launch into the American tyre replacement market is expected next year, but it is also going to be available as an optional upgrade on the Cadillac’s ‘Premium Collection’. According to Bridgestone, while the Cadillac is known for its luxury and performance, the tyres will be an important aspect of that luxury driving experience.
